Definitely not doing a blusher, mainly because my dad is not the one walking me down the aisle. He passed away about 8 years ago so it will be my mom and uncle walking me down the aisle. Don’t find it necessary to use a blusher in this instance although the sentiment is sweet. =)

I really like the idea of a blusher, but I’m not wearing one because I went with a cathedral length veil, and I personally prefer catherdral veils without blushers.  If I had gone with a fingertip veil (or a similar length) I definitely would have worn a blusher.

@Bunny_the_Bride:  I will have the photo charms on my bouquet the day of so my dad will be there with me in spirit if nothing else. =) The sentiment is indeed very sweet, I think if my dad was still around I would have gone the more traditional route with a blusher and a finger-tip length veil. But I do have a cathedral-length veil and like the PP stated I think they tend to look better without a blusher! =)

I think I will wear one, as the veiling is a traditional part of the Jewish wedding. I also like the look of them – so romantic!

Blushers look so pretty and romantic, but I’d get super-frustrated fast with anything in front of my face like that.

I am wearing my mom’s lace edge fingertip veil. Changing it from a halo to secured by a comb. I am having an outdoor ceremony and a pretty modern kinda girl, plus my mom didn’t use one, so no blusher for me

I’m not a fan of veils and wearing a short veil in the back was already a compromise, so I did not wear a blusher. All I can think when I see the blushers is, “don’t marry the wrong daughter!”

@Bunny_the_Bride:  i am jewish and not doing a blusher.

i’ve seen brides do it and i think it covers their face too much for pictures.

at the last wedding i went to, the groom moved it to the side for their first kiss instead of putting it back over her head.  just seemed strange.

I had a veil with a blusher. Loved it!
