Is the hair very long?  If it isn’t at least a quarter inch, you probably aren’t going to be able to wax it off.

Have you thought about laser or electrolosis? A good friend had a bit of a “treasure trail” if you will, and she got rid of it with electrolosis. She said it was a bit painful but worth it for her.

I’d save up for laser!

I’ve had my lower back waxed and the hair was shorter than a quarter inch. It was really smooth and perfect for my backless dress. I only did it twice, and it didn’t grow back darker or anything else bad like that. I would recommend it. I have the same problem where I have light skin but very dark hair.

humm i agree with the laser idea..but again that is too expensive. I too have light skin with dark hair but when it comes to me unlike others i know if i wax the “baby hairs” they will grow back darker (learned the hard way with my stomach area).  what i am doing is bleaching my back and chest area. I always do it to my chest area for parties and such.  I am also VERY SENSITIVE to when i wax or remove hair in most areas i break out BADLY so on my upper arms to will trim the hair instead 🙂
