i tried to pick my dress on my own at first but I couldnt I needed support for such a large purchase. Otherwise just trust your heart and do not listen to the sales woman too much because she’ll push you on anything to make a sale. In the end you’ll be the one to say for sure yep this is my dress anyway 🙂

I kind of did, I mean I tried on lots of gowns with my mom. Figured out what shape I wanted then I actually found it online fell in love and then just took my mom and sister to show them- but I would’ve bought it even if they hated it.

I’ve been thinking about what I want in a wedding dress for many years, and for the past few years (especially recently) I’ve been looking online and continually checking my favorite designers to see when they come out with new styles. I’m probably going to end up going alone when I actually go to shop in person, since most of my friends and family (not counting my FH) live at least two hours away. However, I have had him look at dresses with me and let me know what he likes and dislikes in dresses, and it turns out we have really similar taste, so that helps a lot. 🙂 I don’t know how I’m going to know when I’ve found “the one” (although I’ve narrowed it down to a few choices from what I’ve seen), but I do think I know pretty well what looks good on me. 🙂
