@hillsab03: This is just a personal choice that only you can decide, I had my BM’s and Maid/Matron of Honor in the same color dress, only difference is that my Maid/Matron of Honor had a diffrent style with a sash, and it was short. Here’s a pic.

@hillsab03:  I agree that it has to be entirely your decision.  I have my girls wearing different Lilly Pulitzer dresses in the same print.  I like having things different, but it’s not for everyone. A lot of brides feel that takes away attention from them in some way, and they want all attention on them.  Some also say it looks bad in photos.  To me, how it looks in photos has to do with how nice the dresses look period.  A hideous dress is a hideous dress, even if everyone matches.  I have seen gorgeous photos of all varieties: different colored dresses for everyone, Maid/Matron of Honor different only, and everyone the same.  I have also seen ugly photos of all three varieties. Do what makes YOU happy, not simply what the Maid/Matron of Honor or bridesmaids want.

My Maid/Matron of Honor is wearing a grey and my other Bridesmaid or Best Man are wearing a dusty green color. They are all different styles.

I ended up having them all in the same dress with a different bouquet for Maid/Matron of Honor. I asked her what she wanted though and she didn’t want to stand out too too much.
