@persianprincess: What about navy? And then bring in the color with the bouquets?

I had a fall wedding with navy dresses and orange, red, yellow boquets:

We had a very green backdrop as well:

Hmmm. I was going to suggest champagne, but you mentioned that you are not looking for a neutral color.  You also do not like bright or bold colors, so, what about sage green? Or perhaps something coppery?

ETA, I just saw the post above mine with the suggestion of Navy.  If a dark color is acceptable to you, I agree that Navy would be beautiful in a white chapel or beach-background setting. Also burgundy would be another beautiful, dark, fall color.

@persianprincess: Champagne could be very pretty too. I was in a wedding where the BMs wore champagne and carried bright calla lilies. It was an Oct wedding I think:

@persianprincess: The link doesn’t work for me. You can call J. Crew and request color swatches. That way you can see the color in person rather than just online.

Also, if you want that light pink and white bouquet feel then you could go with a darker dress color. Like a dark grey or the navy would work there as well.

@persianprincess: Here’s a nice example. You could wrap the boquets in burlap instead of navy if you like:
