I would go with something in some sort of cotton, I think. Being in June, you can do just about anything in terms of sleve or not!

Here are some on ModCloth.

Cute wiggle dresses? Check out pin up couture and bettie page clothing websites for ideas. They made beautiful retro dresses.

Can we see a picture of your dress for reference / to drool over?!

I’d probably be inclined to go for theirs being knee or tea length if your dress is tea length. Maybe this if strapless is an option? (David’s Bridal)

Try Alfred Sung…they have AMAZING vintage-style dresses! And they come in a TON of great colors–including many shades of purple/plum. (I just posted pics for style–not color)

You could also try uniquevintage.com. They have a LOT of great vintage-inspired dresses that could work as bridesmaid dresses:

@MissLemon:  I know! I love it. My sister and one of my cousins are wearing that one at my wedding–in Niagara (a bright ocean blue)  🙂

@CelticBeachBride:  I second Alfred Sung! I wore one similar to the second dress (but with a small bow belt in the front) and it was divine. I want to buy his Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses for my daily life!

@letigre:  Me too! I want the entire line…in every color. Too bad I don’t have the money for that–let alone enough places to wear them. LOL.
