How’s ModCloth’s return policy? Can you order it, have you friend try it on, and return it if it’s too short?

I think picking something else would be more appropriate.

It’s been my experience that mod cloth dresses are extremely short…Check out the measurements and compare with dresses your bridesmaids already have to be sure, though!

I know that personally, I’m 5’4…and I am definitely uncomfortable in a 32 1/2 inch length dress. And that’s just out and about, not even at a formal event!

What if you let your Maid/Matron of Honor, who you say is short and it’d be fine on, wear the dress and find another dress for your other BMs? It’s not uncommon to have the Maid/Matron of Honor wear a seperate dress than the BMs.

You could always add a ruffle  of tulle peeking out from the hem.

Modcloth does give the measurements for the length of the dress

That is a fairly short skirt and to me leggings are casual attire, not for a bridesmaid at a wedding. You could add a flounce of something at the bottom, maybe a cream colored lace/tulle or whatever your colors are.

Wow, that’s very, very short. You could order two of them, and have several inches from the second added to the first, maybe separated by a velvet ribbon in that color or a color close to their skin tone. A seamstress could do this without too much problem, but it would probably be easier and cheaper to just pick something else or let them wear tights.
