if i don’t have black in my colors….would it be wierd to have black in their dresses??
when it came to Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, with us having a summer wedding, i wanted to just have them pick out regular ol’ summer dresses from a department store, simple and affordable for them and no worrying about ordering anything or how long it would take to come in or alterations, etc…….i gave them my colors (olive/sage green, pale yellow, white, and ivory…with chocolate brown as an accent color)…..now that stores are bringing out spring/summer clothes, i got to searching for dresses online at department store websites, because getting them all together (all 3 of them) to go shopping with me is becoming an issue…..no worries, i thought…..well i completely forgot to take into consideration my one bm who is well, busty, for lack of a better way to put it….and the dresses that i love and that goes perfect, well, won’t work, plain as that…….these were the dresses…
so i talked to her a bit about what style dresses she is comfortable wearing…..and i’m starting my search again…..but choices are limited….i’m trying to keep this relatively inexpensive for them as well….hopefully under the $100 range….preferrably under $50…..so i came accross this dress…
it has the green in it (i’m trying to ignore the fact that its lime green tho)…..but its major color is black…..and if it came down to it, with three months to go, i honestly would just settle for them buying anything!! as long as it goes within the earthy/summery tone/pallette…..and i suppose i could just tell FH to have the GMs in black suits so it goes together in the pictures…..
but will it look odd that the rest of my decor are my other colors??? should i just add in black here and there to tie everything together IF i have them get this dress?? fyi, both ceremony and reception are outdoors….
i’m running out of time here and i’m bout to just say eff it BUT part of me still wants everything to look perfect!
