Hi all! Just continuing to think about bridesmaids gifts, and I wanted to check so far to see what y’all think! I want to spend no more than $20 – $25 per girl, and I want the gifts to be things they can use in every day life (not things just for the wedding day). Here is what I have in mind so far…
Monogrammed mugs from Anthropologie, $8 per mug:
Pocket mirrors from an etsy seller (different design for each girl) – $5 each:
What do you think? Any other suggestions for small gifts that are not necessarily wedding-day related? Also, should I plan to buy them jewelry for the wedding day? The problem is, some girls can’t wear certain materials in their ears, and each of the girls’ dresses are different necklines, some of which won’t look good with a necklace. Should I just let them wear whatever jewelry they want (nothing too flashy), or should I try to coordinate jewelry for them?

@BlushingMonk: Really cute ideas!
To be honest, I’m not a fan of giving wedding jewelry for Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts…mainly because I don’t really see the gift as something for them, but rather to coordinate with the wedding/other girls. So to me, it’s a gift that’s not really about them.
I honestly would let them wear what they want (especially given what you’ve said about necklines and allergies) and try to come up with something specific for each girl, even if it’s a really nice handwritten note.

I am also not a huge fan of giving girls jewelry to wear specifically for the wedding. I agree with PP that it’s more of an item to further coordinate the wedding, not necessarily for them to wear and enjoy.
That said, I did get my BMs jewelry as part of their gift. But I chose all different things that I thought each would enjoy. Earrings for one, bracelet for another, necklace for another, etc. They all still wear the things I gave them.

I, at one point, was thinking about getting those mugs too! Hahaha they’re so cute!!!!!
Let the girls wear their own jewelery because of the allergies and necklines. That way they’ll each wear something they like and feel comfy and you don’t have to stress about finding stuff that coordinates and suits each girls taste.
