Do you think it makes a big difference to have all your bridesmaids in the same shoes vs. allowing them to choose their own in a particular shade?

no one ever notices the bridesmaid shoes. i think if you tell them what color family and shoe style you want, then you’ve got your bases covered. if you do make them all get the same shoes, i think etiquette dictates that you should pay for them yourself. (just as it is with mandating same hairstyles, etc)
i really wouldn’t worry about it!
I wouldn’t worry about it, either. Too much other stuff to worry about 🙂
IMO if it is a full length dresses it doesn’t matter at all. If it is short dresses it only matters that they aren’t drastically different colors or styles.
My girls are ending up with the exact same shoe because they both chose it when we went shopping together. All I told them was I wanted silver shoes.
They are short dresses so they will be seen. I thought of just saying a silver shoe so I might just stick with that. I’m just concerned also that some people may have silver shoes already which is fine, as long as they’re not scuffed. I worry about that too.
I am going to tell them I would prefer they wear white or silver shoes but if they don’t have those, I would be okay with black. Most people have either white silver of black dress shoes right? lol

Mine are having similar colour and style of shoes but each chose slightly different ones – it’s no problem at all I don’t think.
I just told mine to pick what they wanted, but they had to be black. ones in flats, ones in sparkly stilettos. haha
My girls all wore different gray or silver shoes and they all picked something that they loved so I was happy!
