I bought my BM’s jewelry right after Christmas and got an EXCELLENT deal on them. They’re real sapphires. The necklace is also in gold (not silver) – I just couldn’t find a picture in gold. My bridesmaids range from age 12 (my daughter) to 44 (my sister). I don’t typically like heart-shaped jewelry but for some reason, I like this necklace and the simplicity of it altogether. What do you think?

I like the earrings, but I’m not a fan of the necklace–then again, I’m biased against heart-shaped jewelry for anyone over the age of maybe 16 or so. It’d be cute for your daughter, but not as cute on your 44-year-old sister.

What do you think your wedding party thinks of hearts? I personally like them and so does my Mom. My mom is 40. My engagement diamond is heart shaped as well.

Ultimately, it goes back to the old “It’s your wedding” mentality. As long as it’s not something that’s gonna make them so uncomfortable they won’t have a good time, I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
