I think if it is just a bow and trim. dont worry about it, especially as you said she has gone above and beyond.
What shade did you choose, and what shade did she choose for the trim? If the trim shade is a neutral or, like, a lighter version of your color, it might not be so bad.
@sarakat02: It’s a pretty vibrant stand out shade. I showed Fiance and he was like “yeah that’s going to stand out.” I don’t want to cauze problems. Really, I don’t. It’s just SO different from all the other dresses because of the second color.
It’s a totally different color than the color I chooSe. A different contrasting color
I had a two tone dress for my sister’s wedding with the other bm’s in on of the other color. They were a lighter/darker shade of the same color and didn’t look bad.
What does her dress look like?
If it a huge bow and will end up sticking out and is simply not something you are willing to overlook I might suggest to her to have it altered to remove the bow and trim.
I would at least start with looking into potential alterations. The only thing you can really do is gather information and see what is possible via alterations and the potential cost. If it is too much but you are determined you could offer to split the cost.
Can you post some pics? Also what are your wedding colours? Is the other colour she chose one of your wedding colours or completely different?
so is the main part of her dress the same colour as the other girls and just the bow is different??
i’d like to see the dresses if you can post them.
Can the bow be removed?
Does it bug you enough that you’d be willing to go 50/50 on a new dress?
Can you show a [icture of thedresses? Maybe it isn’t that bad/
