I have the same problem from time to time. (even though I am currently taking Sprintec) I have tried the pro active body wash and it works pretty well but its kinda expensive. The best thing that works well for me is just exfoliating the hell out my skin when I am in the shower.

I used to suffer from back acne really bad in high school – what made it stop for me was changing the order in which I showered (or maybe I grew out of it? But it seemed like this was my trick). I’d shampoo, condition, use body wash/shave, then use a face wash (whatever one I was using at the time) on my back last. My doctor suggested it – if you think about how moisturizing conditioners are, I’m sure they leave some gunk on your skin, which has to cause bacne. In addition, if you get sweaty, make sure you change out of those clothes and shower ASAP.

Another thing that worked well that I never really thought about until someone pointed it out. Change your sheets often. Like more then normal. And also use cotton sheets dont use anything that is silk or sateen.

When I was younger I had this issue, my doctor prescribed something and it was all better. I still get small patches of it occasionally – there is a Clean and Clear salycic (sp) acid body wash you can use and buy from many drug stores.
