I’m pregnant with my second child too.

I also cry at everything since having DD#1. It’s kind of ridiculous lol.

My boobs were already big pre-pregnancy, but they got HUGE when I started BFing, and they’ve stayed that way.

I have tons of stretch marks on my stomach.

My metabolism totally changed after having Dear Daughter, and I gained 30lbs after having her.

I’m basically every woman’s nightmare of what happens after you have a baby!

  • My hair lost some of it’s curl, going from ringlets to loose curls and waves. And it’s much thinner now that it was before.
  • My vision changed. Never needed glasses until DS was born.
  • Developed food sensitivities to dairy and soy that never went away.

Pregnant with my second at the moment. We’ll see what sort of havoc this pregnancy wreaks on my body. ๐Ÿ™‚

You LOST a foot size?! I GAINED a foot size! I had to replace ALL of my shoes, I was so sad. At the risk of being Too Much Information, My periods also got lighter. They weren’t super heavy before, but they were definitely heavy for the first 3 days, and lasted a whole 7 days. Afterwards, after all the post-natal bleeding healed up, my periods were significantly lighter and only stuck around for four days. So not a bad change

-I cry at everything (I was a crier before, but it’s worse).  I can’t even watch the news it’s too triggering usually.

-I have more fat on my stomach than before, even though I’m at the same weight.  I permanently look like I did at 15-16w pregnant!  I hate it because a lot of pants hit right at that point where you’re the biggest.  so then you feel even worse

-I have pretty much zero cramps with my periods!

Artie52:  I’m lucky in that my body totally bounced back (well, it took about 6 months- it didn’t happen instantly). The skin on my tummy is a little loose but I have my six pack back. But the flip side is the peeing. If I run, jump, or sneeze, I pee. A lot. It sucks because I’m an athlete so I’m running and jumping most days. I have to wear a giant maxi pad and sometimes it still soaks through. So I look good when I’m working out but no one knows I’m just a-peeing away. Sigh. I tell myself that if I had to end up incontinent at least it’s just pee…..

My feet also shrunk!! So weird.

Due to breastfeeding and my son’s MSPI (which meant no dairy/soy for me either!) I weigh 25 lbs less than when I got preggo. Score!

My hair fell out around my crown. It’s now about two inches long and whenever it’s in a ponytail I look like I have horns.

I cry. At. Everything. Total sap!

My shoe size went up an entire size and my nose got wider! I thought it was all in my mind until my bff was looking at pictures of us from the start of my pregnancy and said “woah! Did your nose get bigger?!” Hahaha

My hips got wider, my hair fell out right at the front among other places (the regrowth looks awesome – not!), weight dropped off pretty easily although there’s definitely looser skin on my belly than before. Im still in the same clothes as pre-baby, except for tops that don’t work with my new larger boobs ;).

The weirdest thing was that although I have no trouble controlling pee or anything, I had a droopy vaginal wall which looked like a minor prolapse whenever I stood up. Seems to be going away though, thankfully, many many kegels later. Didn’t hurt or anything, it was just annoying.

And I cry at way more things :D. Oh, and those scenes in movies where the baby carriage is rolling down the street and it’s supposed to be funny? NOT FUNNY anymore!

My abs split (which was terrifying and disgusting) so even though I’ve lost the weight, my stomach is not the same shape. I can’t complain if that’s the worst thing that happened.

One thing I didn’t expect was the linea nigra to stick around. I’m 3 months pp and it seems like it’s never going to leave.

ALso I still leak pee. It only started after my 6 week pp check up. I’m convinced it’s the midwifes fault ๐Ÿ˜œ

AOriver:  Yes! I totally forgot about that. Mine still here too, although it’s light, at just shy of 6mo pp.  I don’t even notice it now, I’m so used to seeing it.

I’m so glad to hear I’m not the only one who cries at everything now! I was driving home from work this morning thinking about my brother’s upcoming wedding and I started to cry! So weird. I’m 5.5 weeks pregnant now but I have been like this every since being pregnant with DD!

Also, my boobs, once I slowed down a bit with breastfeeding, looked like empty wind socks!  ๐Ÿ˜ They are looking better these days now that I’m pregnant again!

Wow well I already cried at everything pre-pregnancy so I dread to think what I will be like post pregnancy ๐Ÿ˜€
