Thanks for posting this.  I was a little nervous about boudoir shoots as well, so this is a bit of a confidence booster.  Thanks!

Thanks for sharing!  I really wish people would follow what she is trying to encourage.  I hate when magazines or TV shows get all, “Finally! Real women figures!” But it lasts for like five minutes and then they are back to the typically unattainable body of most, if not all, major models who probably only live in lettuce for a meal.  Then it gets even worse when they take women who are the “fantasy” and still airbrush the bee-jeezes out of them making them look even more fictional.

Wow, thanks!

I’m doing mine in two months….in the buff. But I trust my photographer and I know she’ll make me look good. Plus, Fiance has me convinced that I’m a sexy woman so I think I can make it work!

Jaylii — You’re absolutely right. The Fiance WILL love them and you should definitely embrace your figure. I’m a size 12 too 🙂 It wasn’t until I started reading wedding blogs and looking at wedding web sites that I knew this was a common thing. It’s just not something I had ever heard of (I don’t think my Fiance has either).

I think you made a great point about it being a good experience. I can hardly stand in front of my Fiance in my bra and panties without feeling a tinge of self conciousness, so I think getting in front of the lights and cameras will definitely be an experience. I think I’d be pleasantly surprised with the outcome too.

Thanks for this post!
