Im happily toward the end of my second trimester and notice that when I sleep at night my belly hangs. lol. Is there any type of body pillow your recommend or that works for you? I notice there are simple cheaper long ones and ones that are shaped and U around for the total body. There are ones that cushion your belly and thigh.
Headin after work! Which one should I get?!

I’m still in my first trimester, but I’ve had a body pillow for a while. Just this week (last night, actually) I discovered it is EXTREMELY painful to sleep on my tummy. It’s a combo between tender breasts, gassy pressure, and maybe a few other things. I found that sleeping with like half my body on the pillow and half off seems to do the trick. They ahve a great one at target I’ve had my eye on. It’s kind of pricey but it looks AM.A.ZING. I forget the name of it though… Good luck!

I have a Snoogle. It’s ok- it does a good job of keeping me on my side, and it’s fairly comfortable. But honestly, I often prefer to just have three or four pillows around my side of the bed and kind of configure them however seems most comfortable at the time. (I’m currently 32 weeks).

I have one just regular rectangular pillow but I usually do what Lozza does and arrange pillows all around. I’ve found I’m most comfy half way between my back and my side so I kinda stick pillows in the wedge to keep me at this odd angle.

There are SOOO many options out there. I researched and researched when I was expecting and asked many message boards. There didn’t seem to be a clear answer for a ‘wonder pillow’. I ended up borrowing a snoggle from a friend and it worked good enough. I also had some smaller pillows that I would stuff wherever needed to get as comfortable as I could. Lots of people seem to just buy a regular body pillow. I think anything will work and it’ll be just trial and error to find your comfortable position. And that may change as you grow!

I have a snoogle and I love it. It wraps around me nicely to keep me comfy, and it’s not so huge that it takes up the whole bed.

I got the boppy brand at Target. Its not the prettiest looking pillow but it did the job for awhile! I loved that it wrapped between my legs and had the head pillow too. Now that I’m almost 9 months nothing is working. Not even the dang pillow!
I also like it because you can fold it and it works for nursing the baby. I’m not even going to get a traditional Boppy just because my pillow can already do the job.

I also have the Boppy maternity pillow from Target and I love it! It’s also good for back support when you’re sitting up.

I love love love my snoogle! It took me a LONG time to start using it, the beginning of my third trimester, but I’ve been LOVING it this trimester!!! It helps my back and leg pains tremendously
