I would suggest a fit & flare shape like the one below. I was really comfortable in a gown similar to this (and now I have my eye on this one) and it made my shape look fantastic. It’s form fitting but the bottom still goes out enough to balance your shape.

Fit and flare would look good.

Are you looking for anything in particular like lace?

@doomcookie: If you get a train, they always can do bustles.  Or do you not like the look of a bustle?

It sounds like you are actually closer to an hourglass (definition:  about 10 inches smaller in the waist than the hips i.e. cup size doesn’t matter a bit) and you sound quite lovely!  Unless you are trying to minimize your deriere for self-conscious reasons I say go for a mermaid/trumpet/fit and flare.  Seriously, I am picturing a sorta Eva Mendez body (which I adore, would kill for) and I think you would look stunning in this style.  Now the details-lace or satin, ruffles or bows are all up to your personal style and taste but if you want a little boost to your bust do a sweetheart neckline with maybe a little ruffle.

As someone who is a super-busty hourglass let me just say that you are super lucky!  Your body type is the one I adore and you will end up looking great in your dress!  I had to order my dress 2-3 sizes bigger just to accomodate my bust and there is going to be some significant alteration bills in my future.  Good luck!
