Maybe you have more muscle than she does, muscle does weigh more than fat. I’ve got a friend who looks heavier than I do, but I outweigh her by quite a bit because I’m brawny. *sigh* I’ve got better/bigger biceps than half of my male friends.

Just a thought on your body’s starvation mode thing, are you sure you are getting enough nutrients? Not calories, but nutrients. It might be worth trying something like green smoothies to see if upping your nurtient intake without greatly increasing your calorie intake changes your metabolism.

@MrsFutureG:  Everyone wears their weight differently. Your goal weight on her might look the same as you do now, but I bet it won’t look the same on you. I’m sorry about your childhood diet. The epigenetic changes that caused have got to be difficult to deal with.
