- Wedding: October 2012
So, my wedding is not until next year, but I’m trying to graduatlly piece everything together. All ideas or input will be greatly appreciated. 😀
Thus far I have my gown:
(The dress is a trumpet style with corset back and chapel train)
And I also have a sheer lace bolero because I’m not a huge fan of the strapless look: (see link below)
I’m thinking of wearing a blusher or birdcage style veil as to not overdo the look.
The theme of the wedding is going to be an early 1900s, vintagy, handmade one (my fiance and I are going to be hand-making a lot of the items for the wedding–invitations, jewelry, lapel pins, favors, decorations, etc). It will be indoors/outdoors in autumn at a rustic bed and breakfast and will not be very formal at all.
I personally think that the birdcage or blusher veil will accent the theme and pull the outfit together, but wanted to see if anyone else agrees or disagrees.
Thanks so much!
