Have you googled images for “satin bolero”? or checked out etsy? I have a taffeta gown that looks very similar to yours. I went with a lace bolero from “CanadaSunfashions”, and I received it a week after I ordered it, and I love it!

A couple questions for you: 1. do you want cap sleeves, 3/4 length sleeves, or long sleeves? and 2. What color (ivory, white, colored)?

@bestbuddies:

Yes very true. I actually really liked a satin one at DB and almost bought it, but didnt want to wait 12 weeks to get it in the mail. But the OP has time, so great suggestion.

OP-you should just go to DB, try on a few with a dress that is similar to yours, and go from there. Then youll get an idea about size, color, style, etc. Good luck.

I truly think lace would look lovely with that dress. I had a friend who wore a lace bolero over her satin dress and it was stunning. 🙂

@thursdayschild:

I was worried about the same thing. Re: color, you really have nothing to worry about. Just order “white”, and you’ll be fine. My bolero is white, and my dress is “pearl”, so I have a bit of a color mismatch, but Im going with it. I also think the lace would look lovely. I think the satin may appear to be too much fabric–like you ARE trying to cover up verse trying to accessorize. Just go try some boleros on. Itll all work out.
