I had mine done 2 years ago so here is my advice.. Lol

1. Take a stool softener starting the day of your surgery otherwise you will come out of the bathroom four days after your surgery crying bc you can’t poop. My boyfriend sure got a kick out of that one. LoL. I got really bloated, my pants didn’t fit, so take the softener. Sorry if that’s tmi but I’m being honest.

2. Yourclothes, dresses and bathings will fit totally different. I’m not sure how big you areago ing but for me, dresses fit totally different. I now say “I have implants, that won’t look right”… Where as before I was saying “if my boobs were bigger that would look better”… So I hope you knew that before u got your wedding dress, there is a chance it will look and fit totally different. Not to mention how expensive it is to tailor dresses when your a 12 top and a 6 bottom…I was a bm last fall and ran into alteration problems, I no longer can just buy off the rack and go.

3. I wish you the best! I love mine and I’m so glad I got them, it’s just an adjustment finding clothes and dresses now. Good luck!

@Toastymama:  My incisions were under the breasts, implants under the muscle. So that might account for the pain I felt. And as JessMorgan777 mentioned, they’ll be fairly high and swollen and it takes a good while before they drop.

Hope surgery went okay!! And have your Fiance help you lie down and sit up, you don’t want to strain your muscles! (Funny how you never realise what muscles you use for simple daily actions until they scream at you in pain :P)

Yay! Thanks for the update! Glad it went well!

The reason for the constipation is because of the pain killers. I had to take a dulcolax to get things moving and quit taking the pain killers as soon as I could. Glad they look great!! Does not sound like your having the stretch nerve issues I had. They wrapped me up with bandages for a week. Are you having to wear those? I am sorry that you are so sore! They must have shot me up with alot of that numbing stuff or it just might be different with over the muscle (I got them under).

@Toastymama: A surgical bra? Hurm…is it like a sports bra? They just wrapped me up in bandages and told me to wear them for a week. I actually think a bra would have been more comfortable!

“Under the muscle is supposed to be worse”

– maybe that is why they numbed me up so much! I remember seeing all the injection marks around the “new girls” the next day.

And yes, ALL of my friends and some of the women in my family wanted to see my “new girls” lol….it was more of a curiosity thing really. lol So you might have others wanting to see them soon.

Yay! Glad to know yo’re moving about!!

I’m not sure if there’s a difference but when I got my surgery done, I actually didn’t get any surgical bras. Just bandages like JessMorgan777. Also the surgeon encouraged me to “go free” since it’d allowed them to drop and look more natural, since the girls were quite high up. Tongue Out I ended up not wearing any bras for almost 3 – 4 months!

And I also got some vitamin E cream to apply on the stitches after they were removed.

Man if I had the money to get mine done a little bigger I sure would.

When the kids aren’t there, I would flaunt those babies around the house!

@Toastymama:  Umm I’m not entirely positive, but I think I read somewhere those surgical garments were meant to help prevent swelling. I remember my surgeon mask- taping my upper bust to reduce the swelling but that’s about it. It doesn’t sound like you’ve got any other type of bandages on you though… >.< Maybe it’s kinda either surgical garments or bandages to reduce swelling…

Anyway, how’s the pain??? Hope you’re feeling heaps better! I was on pain meds 3 times daily for about a week and after that the pain just… disappeared.
