I’m an A-cup or small B-cup and I wanted implants for years. It all changed when I started to rock-climb, I just figured it would be so much harder to do it with big breasts getting in the way. I no longer climb, but the urge to get my boobs fixed is since long gone. Guess it also helps that my husband thinks they are perfect as they are. Anyway, I vote HONEYMOON in a heartbeat. Looking back at the entire wedding adventure that’s the part that makes me smile the most.

its really her decision i know, but i really think she would regret not doing a honeymoon, especially bc she and her Fiance have never travelled together. DH and I’s first trip was our honeymoon and it was perfect… i don’t have a perfect body at all and don’t like some of the beach pics we took, but you know what it was still the most amazing perfect vacation i’ve ever taken… when i look back at our photos from our honeymoon i wish i could go back, not that i hate how i look in my bathing suit.

a honeymoon isn’t just a vacation, its really something that can only be done within the first year of marriage, i doubt they will be able to save up within that year (also she would have time off of work since she will use time off for hte wedding and recovery) to book a honeymoon within a year of hte wedding.

lol. this post made me giggle.

If i were her, I would go on the honeymoon and save up for a boob job. Boobs can wait until after babies.

Fiance and I have a 2 yr old daughter together. We plan on having one more next year. I never wanted kids but agreed to one, but now he says we have to make her a sibling because he hated being an only child! I grew up with a brother and he was my bestfriend so i dont want to rob that wonderful experience from our daughter, thus I agreed. I did demand a glorious pair of boobies in return for agreeing to put my body through another pregnancy. He gladly agreed(hooray!). I told him once we have our baby, and i am done breastfeeding him/her, I will be ready for my boobs. I have big hips and thick legs but my chest is of a pubescent boy. I really could use a pair of small or full C’s to balance things out! I will be done having kids, i will be 31 when our second child comes (well atleast thats our plan for now), I think I deserve a glorious pair of boobs then.  HEHE 🙂

I’ve also considered a boob job for just as long – just the other way around. I have a G cup and I’m NOT happy with that. However I would not even think once about spending my honeymoon money on my boobs. Especially so if they’ve beer travelled together. We just LOVE to travel so I’m soooo looking forward to our honeymoon, I would seriously regret it if I were her. As people have said, boobs can wait.

it sounds like she may define herself / her self-esteem by her small breasts. But loving yourself is not about the size of your breasts. (And trust me, there’s nothing pretty about a natural G-cup naked, so I CAN relate!) She should still embrace who she is, that way it also shouldn’t bother her too much to wait some more for the boobies (I’d also get them done after she’s done with the baby planning).

Oh geez, I’d rather do just about anything than have my chest sliced open and have silicone shoved inside. So…. it’s really surprising to me that some would put this in the same category of things as a vacation.

@BrideToBe14:  unless they’re staying somewhere super expensive, a boob job from a top plastic surgeon is going to cost a lot more than 7 days in the Bahamas!

@BrideToBe14:  Why not get boobs now and then honeymoon later? Or honeymoon now or boobs later?

Boobs are only for her, husband loves her just the way she is.

Honeymoon is for the couple to celebrate their marriage together.

Seems selfish to me to choose to spend that money on boobs.

@BrideToBe14:  I’m a small b cup girl with a very curvy bottom. My Fiance when we met was a boob guy to but loves me the way I am. I would pick the honeymoon. However I’ve never been a girl to want huge boobs anyway. I’ve always said the only way I would get one is if having to get them off by something like cancer or something or after childbirth and breastfeeding if my boobs look too saggy.

Given her story, I voted on the boobs – they can always go away for a weekend or something as a honeymoon – who says it has to be such a glamorous vacation??

@BrideToBe14:  I am a 34 B, so not big, but not super small. Many people in my family (mother, both aunts and my grandmother) got breast augmentation surgery. They went up to C cups and are very happy with them. I, however, do not every plan on getting an augmentation and would definitely pick the honeymoon.

My boobs aren’t big, but my DH loves them the way they are. Not going to lie though, I gained about 15lbs last year (ugh, I didn’t work out) and I gained most of it in my boobs and my stomach area. I went up to almost a C cup…and it was kind of nice. Then I got back into shape, lost the 15lbs and my boobs shrunk back down as well. It’s ok, I still love them the way they are.

Is your friend planning to have children?  Although implants don’t always affect the ability to breast feed, it’s a possibility, as is the need for additional surgeries after pregnancy to address potential changes in shape. I’d say if she’s waited all this time to consider doing this procedure, she should wait until after she has children, if she’s going to.
