I started a post about BareLifts and didn’t get much of a response so I thought I should be more generic.
Has anyone used bra/boob tape for their wedding (for lift)? Did it work? Did it stay on? Any input would be great!

@mu_t: I am wondering the SAME thing! So many pretty backless dresses and I’m terrified of boob tape lol. Hopefully someone can fill us in!

@SoonToBeSimmons: i know i’m so desperate! i have fairly big boobs and a backless dress. i NEED support/lift and i am seriously considering duct taping these bad boys. but if the tape works, i’m down. someone weigh in?

I just don’t know how well it can hold– I cut a bra strap off once to make it a one-shoulder bra (too last minute to buy one lol) and the tape kept falling off. Hopefully boob tape is wayyyyy sturdier!

@mu_t: I’ve use a sticky bra before..no back or straps. I think it comes with a clear strap you can put around your neck but I barely used it.
Similar to this:
I usually wear it to go out, suprisingly they hold up pretty well, even in a sweaty club.

I have DDD boobs and I wore a backless dress. I wouldn’t trust the boob tape but I have worn many a backless evening gown and medical tape will hold the girls up through anything! Plus you look like you have perfect ta tas. its the secret of beauty pageants and celebrities.
however, regarding my wedding dress there was no need even though it was backless. The seamstress sewed chicken cutlets into the dress for support and underwire. Everything stayed perfectly in place all night.

Have you tried the Nubra? I have used it and it works great for giving your boobs a little lift and lasts all night without a problem. Best part is taht it doesn’t hurt when you take it off. Not sure about tape as I have never used that…

Nope. It does not. It will fall off pretty quickly. Especially if you have a larger bust. it is not heavy duty stuff at all. I agree about trying duct tape so long as it doesn’t show through

@mu_t: My BMs tried it for the wedding day and it just DID NOT work! We had sizes ranging from A’s to C’s
(worked better for the A cups but still wasn’t great)
I wouldn’t trust it

I could had used boob tape on my wedding day! Wish I knew where to get it. I hate my strapless bra.

Thanks for the input everyone! I’m ruling out boob tape. I’ve been seriously considering duct tape I’m just worried I’ll make my boobs look weird and be all stressed about it the day of!
@jltoth: I’ve heard good things about nubra… Just so nervous to try it! But perhaps I’ll pick one up.
@carmelbride103: where can one purchase medical tape?!

It’s not meant for your skin, but I used a piece gorilla tape to hold up my Halloween costume and let me tell you, that sucker worked! Better than any other tape I tried. And it easily came off of my skin and the fabric of my costume- although not sure about a wedding dress. It’s a good last resort 🙂

@mu_t: I’ve used double-sided dress tape when I used to perform with my salsa team and it did a good job holding up my costumes! We never really wore bras with our costumes either, but you may need to re-tape yourself at some point during the night.

I think it depends of the volume of your boobs. I have a large chest (28FF/G), but boob tape and stick on bras work great on me. If they are sized in cups, I purchase a C-cup. They last all night, and I find them comfortable.
In the summer, I wear a lot of backless dresses and will sometimes wear a Braza bra daily.
