HELP! Yup, that sums it up. I am rather large busted. I wear a 40F/G in a normal every day bra. My strapless is a 40DDD because I could not find on in a larger cup size. Now, my wedding dress came in and I put on my bra (same one I always where for strapless needs) and suddenly the twins are popping out the top and sides and everywhere else. Mother nature has decided to switch paths and I started yesterday. Saturday I kept saying my boobs hurt and felt swollen, now I know why. When I bought my dress, Mother nature was not visiting. Now the problem is that my wedding is September 25th… Today is June 22nd. Given a normal cycle, I would guess that nature will be here for our wedding (which presents other issues all together) and now I don’t think I can wear my normal strapless bra. Does anyone have any suggestions for a bra? I tried the dress on without a bra, but the weight of my chest pulls the dress drasticly down to the point of being exposed.

Check out Bravissimo (http://www.bravissimo.com) – it’s a company that makes bras, clothing, and bathing suits specifically for us large chested women. They run from 28-40 and D to KK. I bet they’d have numerous options for a strapless bra that would make your dress fit better and help support you!

Thank you… I will hop on over there now.

you need to find a store in your area that will do custom bras, then get a longline bra in your correct size made. It might be a little more expensive but it will be WELL worth it to not flash your grandpa, ya know? 🙂

I’d also recommend http://www.figleaves.com.

Also try herroom.com. silly goose! you can’t walk down the aisle in a bra that doesn’t fit! I’m sure the right one will look and feel better. have you considered adding straps to your dress to help with support?

I second the herroom.com recommendation. I got my bustier from them and it was awesome!

OH, I am not adding one set of spaghetti straps! I am adding 3 sets!!they will be closer together in the front and then fan out across the back.
Thanks for the suggestions. I think I have found a few that might work and reign in the lovely curves!

If you there is an Avenue near you they have a bra called the butterfly bra, it comes strapless and worked wonders for me.

I’m a 38 F and this longline bra is by far the most supportive (and surprisingly comfortable) bra I’ve ever worn. I will use it for my wedding. You can get it at http://www.barenecessities.com or http://www.herroom.com.

I’m not sure about bras, but are you on birth control? Could you double up your pill cycle so that you just skip your period that month… that might help the boob situation and make “other” concerns a non-issue?
