Diamond84:  I haven’t been pregnant, but everything seems like a symptom until you get a BFP. Everyone is different. Some experience symptoms like that, while others do not realize they are pregnant/do not experience any symptoms until months into their pregnancy.

Until you test, you will not know. Sorry, not to be a debbie downer, but it’s the truth.

Diamond84:  I had no idea I was pregnant until I tested the night before AF was due. No sore boobs, no nausea, nothing. A few days after my missed period, my nipples were sore but that was it.

No BFP yet, but have the same issue every month. They usually get sore about 7dpo and soreness lets go about 11dpo. The soreness is from rising levels of progesterone. Immediately After ovulation, progesterone starts to rise and reaches peak levels around 6-8dpo, then gradually falls, prompting af to arrive. That explain the soreness coming on around the middle of the tww. My theory is, if pregnant, they will continue being sore as progesterone levels do not drop. I usually count myself out that cycle when soreness stops.

I had symptoms every other month other than the one I got my BFP.  I tested with a FRER 11 DPO and got a negative-had a few margaritas.  I took another test 14 DPO, when my period would typically arrive and got a faint positive!  I told myself I would never test before the day of my period again!

My boobs get very sore every month and at different times. Sometimes it’s a week before, sometimes three days before. Sometimes 10 days or 2 weeks before. Personally I know I can’t rely on this as a sign.

I’m a serial google-the-symptoms addict and event though I am NOT TTC, every single month I have every symptom posted on any TWW site. Basically all the TWW signs I have seen are normal PMS for me…

I’m not trying to dash your hopes at all, just to say that boobs will get sore and this isn’t necessarily a sign of pregnancy.

If your period does not arrive, that’s the only real way to know. Do a test a day or two before AF, otherwise assume it’s normal hurty-boob syndrome.

Diamond84:  Its totally true that everything seems like a symptom. I was horribly nauseated a few days and was convinved I was going to get a BFP. That was a month ago and nothing. Only way to know for sure is to test.

Breast tenderness is also just a AF/PMS symptom.  No way to tell if it is related to one or the other.  I had a BFP and zero breast tenderness

Progesterone is a tricky little devil. I kinda hate him, except of course we need him to keep pregnancy going. But yeah, basically every symptom can be either AF or BFP and only time will tell.

I am a terrible symptom spotter except with the sore boobs. Because I ALWAYS get those. And with my BFP it was no different than the norm (as I recall from checking my old Weddingbee posts from 3 years ago to do a symptom comparison because I am just that nuts).

FWIW, last time around I tested at 9 and 11 DPO (Short LP so 11dpo was technically late) and got BFN. Took me to 14dpo to get a (still faint) positive.

Diamond84:  I did get sore boobs, they were hurting really really bad, I couldn’t even touch them. I tested positive. Good luck!

Diamond84:  This was my second symptom (after being really weepy), before the BFP on 10 DPO. But I also had sore boobs one random cycle that WASN’T a BFP. So it’s kind of a crap shoot.

Diamond84:  my nipples were increcibly hard 4dpo and then got very very tender after that.  My actual breast tissue did not get sore until a few weeks later.  I got a positive poas 11 days DPO.  GOod luck 🙂
