The Hunger Games series, if you haven’t read them yet. I finished all 3 books in a few weeks. They’re so good! Plus, the movie comes out in March!

I just read the Lincoln Lawyer and it was also really good! I think he has a whole series on them if you need more than one.

I enjoyed The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. Esp if you’re a dog person. 🙂

@atalante:  I know. But ya gotta love a good cry. 🙂

My SO makes fun of me for crying over books but I just get so attached to the characters and story.

I just finished reading The Passage by Justin Cronin. It’s a pseudo-apocolyptic book about a girl who saves the world. I’m not big into sci-fi, etc. but this is somewhat realistic and is a geat novel. Both the plot and the character development were so awesome. I read today that it’s the first book in a triology…the second part, The Twelve, is coming out next Fall I think. It was a NY Times Bestseller. I couldn’t recommend it enough! Seriously, I didn’t think it was very sci-fi but it falls into that category. Almost 800 pages so it will keep you busy!

Not a new book – not sure when it came out -but Cutting for Stone was amazing.

Currently reading Infinite Jest which is not for the timid at over a 1,000 pages.

Just finished Sing You Home by Jodi Picoult.  It wasn’t her best but it still was good, I’m an avid reader of hers.  All the romance books I read also tend to have some tearjerking parts in them, {yup, I’m that girl!} so I can’t really help you out there.
