I read them out of order, not intentionally. I first read French’s “Broken Harbour” as a random pick a few years ago. I was at the library a few months ago (lol my Amazon book habit was getting expensive!) and I saw her newest one “The Trespassers” and also really liked that and realized it was by the same “Broken Harbour” writer (I really need to make an actual wish list). I’m now going through all the books I can find by her, so I’ve been going in order of what I can find rather than a particular order. I read The Secret Place next and now I’m in the middle of “In the Woods” and I still have “The Likeness” and “The Faithful Place”
They’re ones you can read as stand-alones/ out of order so you really can’t go wrong with which ones you pick 🙂

Gotcha thank you! I try to get to the library once a month and check out what they have, but usually have to get on a waitlist. Then all the books come at once!!
As much as I dislike reading from my Nook that is usually the most logical for me when traveling. Nightmares of all the books I left behind when I lived abroad still haunt me LOL

haha you beat me to it!!
I knew I liked you….I’ve read most of the books on your list and loved them!
The outlander series by Diana Gabaldon is a good one to read on your honeymoon. The romance between the two main characters is pretty electric and conducive to honeymooning!! 😉
I’ve also just finished reading a beautifully written book called peony in love by Lisa see. It had me in tears often as did her other book Snow flower and the secret fan.
I like reading paper books too but I’ve reverted to electronic copies now. I always end up leaving them behind in hotels because they take up too much room in my suitcase as I always end up invariably shopping too much on holidays. I’m also notorious on forgetting to return books to the library on the due date so I have started borrowing e books from my library to avoid the late returns and evil eye from the librarian!! 🙈

Thanks I will check out that series too! I was big into checking out audio books from my library online too (looooong commute)! So convenient and a nice mix when I got caught up on all of the podcasts I’m into

Lol it figures – you’re one of my faves too and I’ve LOVED the Outlander series for years now 🙂
I like print books, I’m on a computer so much for work that I like to go tech-less for reading
