Hunger Games Trilogy.  I actually read the first book until 3 in the morning.  Warning: I’ve not been able to read another book since because they were so good and I can’t find anything else just as good.  They are turning the 1st one into a move coming out in March.

I love everything by Jodi Piccoult…I recently read House Rules and loved it.

I’m currently reading The Help and can’t put it down.

I am currently addicted to the books True Blood was based off of. Still have yet to see the show, and I am not usually into vampire stuff, but I LOVE these books. The first book is called Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris.

My favorite book of all time is Gone With the Wind, it’s super long but totally worth it!

@peppy: i’m probably the last person on earth who just started reading The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo…and it’s fantastic! And if you have a dog {or love dogs},you must check out  “The Art of Racing in the Rain.” SO GOOD.

also in rotation: Just Kids by Patti Smith and South of the Border, West of the Sun by Murakami.

i love to read and am always looking to hear of new titles to check out. maybe we can start a book club thread or something!

@Alexis22: oooh i’ve been wanting to read those books! my friend tore through them, she was so hooked! and i’m a big true blood fan {yum} and think you’ll enjoy the show, though they’ve really deviated from the books, so i’ve heard.

and gone with the wind is a wonderful classic! i’m a huge jane austen fan – they never get old. ๐Ÿ™‚

I am currently reading the Harry Potter series, because I feel sad if I don’t read them at least once a year, and as a history major, well, lets just say there’s not much free time for reading ๐Ÿ™ It’s so sad.

The Hunger Games trilogy is awesome.

If you like Hunger Games, The Handmaid’s Tale is like the godmother of books like that.

Also, yeah Charlaine Harris!  The Sookie books are awesome.  Have you read J. R. Ward’s “Dark” series?  They’re, well, darker than Sookie, but the characters are interesting and they’re page turners.

For nonfiction, I recently read, and loved, Tina Fey’s book.

Also, has anyone else read Judy Blume’s adult fiction?  It’s really good – I especially like Summer Sisters and Smart Women.

And YES.  BOOK CLUB.

I just discovered China Mieville (I think I spelled that close to correct). Kraken was really good.
