(Closed) booked church before venue?

I think it is very normal… We booked our ceremony way before our reception venue.. I think it depends, for some people they have the ceremony and reception at the same place. 

I think if your booking a church it is important that you get that venue locked in before starting on finding your venue – but that’s just me!

It depends which one is more important to you. If you must get married in a particular church, you kind of have to book the church first.  If the church doesn’t matter and you want a particular venue, you have to do that first.

Generally I’d say it’s the standard practice, if you’re having a church wedding, to book the church first thing.
