We have been on quite an emotional journey with this wedding, family drama, and other things that have taken place (lost my father 6/1/2012).
Just this weekend we decided upon our final elopement location (it’s moved a LOT due to drama issues).
Here is where we are getting married and staying for two nights. They offer an elopement package with cake, bouquet, boutonniere, champange, engraged toasting flutes, officiant coordination, 3 course wedding dinner at their restuarnat, breakfasts for two days and all the tips!
Ceremony location (they also offer a back up rain plan just in case):
I am so looking forward to how stress free this will be! Someone will take care of it all for us. I think we deserve it after what we’ve been through!
We have 17 days (until we will leave town) to get Fiance a ring, pick out my shoes, figure out a hair style, get my dress taken in (if possible, not required) and plan the rest of our 11 day road trip weddingmoon to Canada, eh!

Wow, those pictures, especially your ceremony location, are absolutely breathtaking, and it seems like such an amazing place to exchange your vows! I’m so sorry about you losing your father, especially during this crazy wedding planning time, and for all the drama, but I’m so glad you have your elopement booked! The package sounds perfect and like the stress-free reliever you need!
I hope you enjoy these next 17 days and have an incredible wedding!! Can’t wait for recaps!

This wedding idea has been to 3 different countries and 5 different states.
Just 3 weeks ago we thought it was on Orcas Island, WA.
The ILs gave us their OK to just go do it wherever (we were trying to accomodate them as they were being very supportive), said we’ve been hrough a lot, we deserve as little stress as possible, so that was the kicker we needed to go to Canada.

What a relief to not have to think about wedding plannig anymore!
I just had to send a photo of a bouquet and cake I like, the colors/flowers I prefer, chose our cake flavors/filling/frosting, and choose a ceremony and dinner time.
I got a photographer that has never shot here before and she is beaming with excitement. I love her work.
Now we just have to figure the rest of the road trip and what we want to see. I’m good at this part.
I feel so relieved and stress free!

@sienna76: Are you from Canada, or just doing your elopement there? For some reason I thought you were from the west..Utah or AZ?

@GFerg: You are right! We live in Utah (not originally from here). We have never been to this area of Canada, but we have always wanted to go here since we are very outdoorsy people. We’ll be hiking every day of the pretty much (except for the two days we have to drive 10 hours each). It’s about a 15 hour drive total to this part of Canada.
I will share photos for sure!
