That sounds incredible! I’m excited for you!

If all goes according to plan, we’re getting married at the same cabin we got engaged at. It’s beautiful there, and it sits right along the Pacific Crest Trail, which runs from the Mexico/US border to the Canada/US one. After our wedding, we might take a week or two to relax at this cabin, but we aren’t taking a proper honeymoon vacation. Instead, we’re continuing to save, because the following spring we’re hiking the full PCT. We consider that our “honeymoon”. We expect after purchasing gear it’ll cost us about $10,000 to cover expenses throughout the trip.

We went to South Africa, had a tour from Johannesburg to Durban via Swaziland and then Port Elizabeth to Cape Town. We’re from the UK. We travelled by minibus, going out to different destinations, 9 different hotels in 15 days, all meals included. Cost £2199 per person with Hayes and Jarvis.

We went just over a week after our wedding, I travelled in my maiden name due to the length of time it would take to sort a new passport.

That sounds so great. Prague is one of my most favourite cities ever. We have no idea about our honeymoon.

I’m not a big cruise person, but that sounds super cool. I never thought about going through to different cities like that, how exciting!

We’re spending 2 weeks in Thailand, can’t wait. πŸ™‚

Cruises are an amazing way to see a lot of places in a short amount of time. I cruised around the caribbean with my sister back in February and it was the holiday of a lifetime. Hopefully to be outdone by my honeymoon which is10 nights all inclusive in the Dominican republic followed by 3 nights in las Vegas. Travelling from the UK

Forgot to say it’s cost £3500 for both of us for both hotels and all flights

Darling Husband and I went to New York City. He had been several years ago but I’ve always wanted to go so he said he wanted to make one of my dreams come true. The cost was $2000 which included airfare and hotel for 5 nights and the hotel was right across the street from Grand Central Station and only a few blocks from Times Square. We spent another $1500-2000 in spending money (meals, cabs, tours, etc.). We left the day after the wedding and had very little sleep. (Went to bed around 2am from the night of the wedding, and I woke up at 6am as I was still on the high from the day before and excited for the honeymoon and our flight was at noon). He and I ended up crashing when we got to NYC and were in bed by like 7pm since we were so tired!

That sounds amazing!  Vienna and Prague are on the top of my list of places I want to go.

We are doing something similar.  We are doing a cruise in Italy, Greece and turkey and week before the cruise in northern italy (Venice, florence and Rome).  We will be gone for 2.5 weeks and leaving 5 days after the wedding.

We are from St. Louis.  So for flights, hotels, cruise and meals, we are expecting $7000.  Flights were more expensive than the cruise.  We got the 10day cruise on sale for 2500, since we bought it very early.

starrynight898 :  Royal Caribbean.  It was half off (or well pay for one person and the second is free) so we went for the balcony room.  We are so excited, it’ll be our second cruise and first in Europe and with a balcony.

My future in laws are leaving on a uniworld cruise next week actually.

We just booked our tickets to Greece! 16 days in Santorini, Crete, Meteora, and Athens. We also have long layovers in Zurich and Vienna so we’ll be leaving the airport to explore a bit.

I’m sooo excited! I already have a detailed itinerary, transfer flights booked, and hotels selected. I’ve been watching YouTube videos about Greece non stop and the honeymoon is more than 8 months away.Β

I love hearing about everyone else’s plans. It’s inspiring my own travel bucket list. 😍

Ours will be in Bali and I’m not sure what the total cost will be because we aren’t done planning – but we’re splurging and staying in an amazing house for a few nights: http://youtu.be/1eI8UomIM6w

Any bees been there and want to offer suggestions?

starrynight898 :  I hope you have an amazing time!! I want to try a river cruise – they seem so much more intimate than a regular cruise.
