Kudos to all you awesome ladies who take the boot camp fitness classes!
I’m a runner and used to be a swimmer when we did core work all the time. But it’s been years and I walked into the class, which is considered an advanced class. Within 5 minutes I was like, “What did I get myself into?”
I did the best I could and was dripping with sweat by the end. My abs and arms already are killing me.
Long story short – it’s great for toning if you’re a bride-to-be or just want to sculpt your body.

Ha. I, too, loved the feeling of being sore after a good workout until the middle of college when I tried to do lunges up and down the football field with the men’s crew team. Bad idea. I was so sore for the next week that I could barely walk up stairs let alone sit on the toilet. Never been so sore in my life! Now I err on the side of under-working out. I will never go through that again!

I’ve been doing boot camp for the last week, LOVE it! I am beyond sore, my calves hurt so bad I can’t even walk right, but unfortunately boot camp is only 2-3 days/week. 🙁 I think I would have much better results if I were going more often, but if it’s an off day I generally am active, but don’t do a “formal” workout. I love boot camp and will definitely be taking my workouts up a couple notches once my wedding gets closer 🙂

I started bootcamp in March to tone up (literally could not walk normal the first week due to soreness) and ended up losing 18 lbs… best money ever spent! I plan on continuing up until my wedding next May.

Yeaaaa 3 days later and my abs are still sore. I have muscles sore that I never even knew I had haha. I’m joining a gym and plan on doing zumba classes, but unfortunately they don’t have boot camp during the time of day I can make it. 🙁 I can see how this class would totally tone your body.

love bootcamp! i do the ones at 24 hour fitness and they rock. the trainers even take the clock off the wall and make us go for more than an hour. my Fiance almot throws up every time but I love it! I’m just glad I finally got him to go 🙂 And 24 hour is way cheaper than paying for any oher bootcamp so it’s awesome! If you are debatingbotcamp, do it! It is worth it!
