Keep it; it's awesome and the regular one is not a replacement, but a separate essential item : (3 votes)

I think you should return one of them since you still need other items. Haven’t had my LO yet any day now!  I would think the bigger one is the way to go to help with feedings.

I’m having the same problem with the Nap Nanny.  Can’t decide if we should keep it.

Keep the regular hoppy, especially if you are going to breast feed. Do you have an activity mat ?  If not that would play a factor, if there is other important stuff I would probably take it back.

mrsSonthebeach- hhmmmmm… thats a good question. My sister used a regular pillow for nursing, thats what I am going to do too. We also have the miny bobby thing with play mat and I dont have the receipt for it anymore..So it looks like we are keeping it!

I have the full size boppy & actually never use it for breastfeeding (maybe I’ll use it when DS is bigger & harder to hold?

In any case, I think you can return the mini & I don’t think you need a formal activity mat. DS is very happy with laying on a blanket & looking around – sometimes I dangle toys for him, but at 5-6 weeks he doesn’t really seem to care. For tummy time, he will only do a min or so on a blanket (with a towel rolled up under him), but if I lay him stomach to stomach on me he’ll do it a lot longer.

@mrsSonthebeach:  I would totally return that and get something you want/need or something that perhaps you didnt get off your registry!

As for the activity mat, one of my girlfriends took a blanket she got and went and bought small squares of different textured fabrics and stitched them on.  You could use old clothes, towels etc too to make the different textures.

Boppy is a must! However the other stuff is just for fun.. for tummy time you can put your baby on a sheet to play! Use the credit for necessities like diapers!
