@atlbride2013:  We stayed at the Hilton since they supposedly had the best snorkeling of all the resorts. The view was also gorgeous since of the direction it faced.

When we were there and saw the other resorts; definitely happy with our decision!!!

@atlbride2013:  Both. In Moorea, the Hilton is the nicest resort. It was also near Pao Pao where a lot of the tours start and where some of the better food is.

Bora Bora wise, Hilton wasn’t the most luxurious resort compared to Four Seasons and St. Regis but it offered the best snorkeling right under the bungalows. It also faces away from the main island on the motu whereas the rest of the resorts face inward so the water/snorkling isn’t as amazing. It’s still great, don’t get me wrong!

I would recommned going to both islands because they really are different and both incredibely gorgeous!!  We loved the Hilton Moorea and was suppsoed to have the best snorkeling, although I really didn’t find it to be that great.  But I sure did love the Crepes bar they have there 🙂

We stayed at the IC THalasso in Bora Bora and absolutely loved it.  It was cheaper than teh St Regis but still cosnidered 5 star.  (along with Four Seasons)  we ended up choosing it because it had a modern vibe and liked that they offered a meal plan.  We also enjoyed the liittle extras like stingray feeding every day and happy hour every night.

@atlbride2013:  I was originally going to go there and Moorea and I looked at St Regis and the Four Seasons in Bora Bora. In Moorea we had actually booked at the Hilton but also looked at Sofitel.

ETA: I see you booked! Have fun and post pics when you get back!
