Sometimes people get married only because they think it’s the logical next step. Social pressure plays a huge part in the ill advised decision to marry someone whom one isn’t compatible with. 

I agree that boredom isn’t enough of a reason to divorce….but it seems like the OP has many other serious issues at play. If she’s prone to cheating and wanting to divorce because of boredom, I don’t think that the OP is the kind of person who should be married.

OP I’m quoting you here from 3 years ago Ask yourself who wrote this because it doesn’t sound like you. “People aren’t kidding when they say marriage is hard and needs constant work, but the payoff is worth it and I hope we can continue to stay positive and remember why we fell in love in the first place”
