So, I have a half eternity band that goes with my e-ring and I love it. However, today it had slipped around and was all on the “gold” side and I really liked the look and I’m considering buying a plain gold band for travel/casual wear.
Anyway, I thought it would be fun to learn more about everyone’s taste / preferences. Which do you prefer? The eternity band look or the plain gold look?

I love the way that gold band looks with your e-ring!! The eternity band is really nice too, of course. My e-ring has a plain band so I’ll be wearing a 3/4 eternity band with tiny diamonds. I may eventually get a plain white gold band myself.

For me it honestly depends on the band of the engagement ring. I like whatever is the opposite of the engagement ring. So if the engagement ring has stones in the band then I prefer a plain band for the wedding ring. If the engagement ring has a plain band, I prefer a band with stones for the wedding ring. I feel like they offset each other nicely and allow each one to maintain their own focus without overwhelming the other when it is done in opposites like that.
If I’m going for just a wedding band with out an engagement ring, I prefer no stones but would like some carved etching element and milgrain around the edge.

Thanks! I wear the eternity band by itself pretty often, but the plain gold band look caught my eye today! I think it is the contrast as @annabananabee mentioned

You could keep the half band and just turn it for whichever way you prefer that day!

Really wanted to vote but honestly can’t decide haha

I prefer the look in the second picture by a lot. Your ering looks much prettier to me when paired with the plain gold band.

I think your e-ring looks so much better with the plain band! It makes is stand out more

Can I see the ering followed by the plain gold and THEN the eternity? I wear a 3 ring stack and always have the plain band in the middle and its my kind of heaven

As soon as I saw the photo with the plain band, I noticed the detailing on your e-ring. With the eternity it gets a bit lost – I like the contrast of the plain band for that reason.

I don’t actually have two ring! The plain gold is just the eternity flipped around haha somethingabitdifferent :

The plain makes your e-ring and it’s diamond pop so much more! It gets a bit busy with the eternityband and the attention is drawn away from the e-ring which is a bit of a shame. Both rings are beautiful though 🙂

I love how plain bands look with pave or diamond detailed e-rings. I think it just lets the e-ring stand out and really be seen. You have beautiful rings by the way☺️
