Have you thought of adding a blingy belt?

@Mananaoshkosh:  I think you could do LOTS to the dress. You could…add a sash (sparkly, ribbon, whatever you like) or top it with a lace bolero or add a big statement necklace. I’m sure there are other things I haven’t even thought of.

Whatever you decide to do will be perfect, I am sure. It is a pretty dress, and you look great in it!

Oh wow, I don’t think it looks boring at all! I think the tulle actually makes it look super gorgeous.

Like a PP mentioned, a blingy belt, with some sort of rhinestones or crystals or pearls on it might make it more ‘exciting’ and also draw attention to your little waist. 🙂 Or if you’re not really into being ‘blingy’ you could try a sash wish a subtle pop of color, like maybe champagne or lavender or something.

I think with a dress like this, you could also play up hair accessories a lot- you could do like a really gorgeous crystal headband or have flowers incorporated into your hair or something.

@Mananaoshkosh:  Wow, I was expecting something boring… but your pics look gorgeous. Seriously. I’m a bling girl and I think your dress is stunning!

Could you do a fancy veil, dramatic earrings, a sparkly sash, blingy bracelets??

a belt or sash would look pretty but the dress is already gorgeous!

what about not using a sash but something sparkly sewed onto it like a big brooch type sparkly – you could probably find one attached to a sash, have the sash removed from it and stitch it on.  OR do what i did and have the sash cut at the back and stitched in so the band goes around but the bow doesn’t take away from the dress. That dress is SO beautiful. I honestly would dress it up with a fabulous necklace/jewelry and veil, not changing the dress itself. It is AWESOME.

@lia22:  This is exactly what I was thinking – instead of a sash, what about a big flower or something sparkly pinned at the waistline?

The other option is to leave the dress the way it is (GORGEOUS, btw…I love your dress!) and bling it up with jewelry, hair accessories, a beautiful veil, etc.

I loved the band that came with mine but I hated that the big poofy back of my dress all layered in tulle and lace was totally covered by the bow.  My options were to remove it and lose the sparkle in the front or to cut off the bow.  I’m so glad I did that.

Oooh. I LOVE that dress so so much! It’s flawless. Who’s the designer? You can do so much to jazz it up! I don’t know what to add that these lovely ladies haven’t already said. I bet a cathedral, lace trimmed, and lightly beaded veil would look amazing with it.
