I didn’t do a tasting with them, but I’ve been to 2 weddings that used Borrachini’s…both brides said the prices were good.   I really like their cake…the frosting is very light and airy (not sugary sweet)

I’ve had several cakes for work birthdays from Borracchini’s and they were great.  A friend of mine also used them for her wedding and it was very tasty.  I also like the light frosting (almost like whipped cream)

The prices are really reasonable – starting $200 for stacked cakes that serve 100 people.

if you’re in town, then try running into their shop to have a look at the designs they offer. their cakes taste nice, and I have used them for several birthday/office parties…but they have a distinct look and feel to them.  In that they are sort of…hometown bakery kind of feel.  That is great, if it’s what you are going for!

I think I’m the dissenting voice here. There cakes are cheap and taste OK. I’ve bought pasteries from them in the past that had MOLD growing in them…totally gross. I’m not the only person who’s had this experience either. I’m totaly not a hater, but buyer beware. Nothing worse than a moldy cake on your special day.
