I was wondering if any one of you have tried borrowing Flowers to decorate your Wedding halls or for any celebrations?
I recently came across an article from a Wedding Magazine called – Affinity Wedding magazine.
There they were introducing about the idea of borrowing Wedding flowers and to sell your Wedding decorating flowers instead of throwing them away as it would be beneficial for both sides and the owner can sell the decorations and thereby saving money as well as we can also save some money by buying those at low price!! There are many Wedding vendors in Amarillo, Midland and Odessa who provides this service!!
I found it interesting, in that Wedding Magazine its saying that their are vendors for doing this, So have any of you have tried this? And if tried how was your experience? Or now is anyone planning to think about it? I found this idea quiet interesting and is going to try it for my friend’s marriage!!! What you think?

Are the flowers real? How do they keep them alive to be reused?

I’m buying all my decor flowers (not the bouquet) in silk/fake and then I was originally going to sell them along with all my other decor after the wedding. One of my bridesmaids is studying to be a wedding planner though, and she’s asked to buy my stuff so that she can start setting up a small decor-rental business.
I think it’s a brilliant idea – fake flowers don’t have an expiry, so there’s no reason that brides shouldn’t be able to save costs by renting or buying-then-selling them!

I am looking into a company called something borrowed blooms, that offers high quality silk flowers in several “Collections” for different color palletes and styles. They seem really affordable so far, and I think I’m going to go through them for my centerpieces and hair pieces 🙂 I just thought I would mention them in case you hadn’t already come across them!
