Boston Marriott Long Wharf is a good choice since it’s both close to the North End and downtown.  The other one that I would suggest is the Hilton in the Back Bay because they have suites with a panoramic view of the city.

My parents live in a one-bedroom in Boston, so whenever we visit we have to stay at a hotel. My favorites are The Four Seasons (right by great shopping and the restaurant in the lobby is delicious) and The Liberty Hotel—it’s a funky boutique hotel that used to be a prison. It’s really cool and has a fun bar too!

@BooRadley:  Hi! The Marriott Longwharf is beautiful and great location– north end is one end, aquairum, greenspace, faniuel hall, etc. It tends to be overpriced but if money’s no limit, def check it out.

I would also recommend the Marriott Custom House (the clocktower in the Boston skyline) It’s part of the Marriott Vacation Club but I’ve been able to book it for one night. The service is amazing and it’s right near the Longwharf so same great location.

The Hyatt Harborside is actually at Logan. It’s beautiful, amazing service and just a feery over to Boston (it’s in East Boston which is where Logan is). I really like it there and the rates are affordable. The Hilton Logan doesn’t have the same waterviews.

Anything in the Seaport is really fun. It’s the newest part of Boston’s scene with TONs of restraunts. It’s a cab ride over to the tourist stuff and beautiful views of hte skyline and city. There are about 3 hotels over there– Seaport, Reinssance and Westin (not on the water).

Hope this helps!

P.S. tell the staff it’s your honeymoon– we stayed over a hotel in Boston over our engagement and prior anniversary (dating anniversaries) and recieved over the top service!

For themoney I would either stay at the Omni Parker House (near Fanuiel Hall, North End, Downtown, close enough to Back Bay and Beacon Hill) OR the Liberty Hotel (kind of far away to walk really anywhere, but it is an amazing building and very hip).

I love the Liberty Hotel- and it is definitely NOT a far walk from the places you want to see. The Common is just a short stroll down beautiful historic Charles St. Some rooms have one way floor to ceiling glass in the bathroom so you can take a shower while looking out over the river!

Also, check out the Boston Harbor Hotel (water views) and the Mandarin Oriental (right by the Pru & Newbury St). Marriott Long Wharf has a great location too.

In terms of easily getting to the airport, the Liberty is definitely the best choice. It will take you approximately 1 minute to get from the hotel to the 93 tunnel (and only one traffic light!).

I would recommend Hotel Nine Zero– swanky boutique hotel right by the Common, and very close to Faneuil Hall/touristy stuff/the North End.

I also love the Boston Marriott Long Wharf…beautiful hotel great location..BUT the rooms are kind of small and the suite is not too special. The Nine Zero or Ames hotel would be my #1 choice if it were me;  both are unique, beautiful inside, very hip and modern and both in great locations (faneuil, north end etc).
