Have you thought about having someone you know perform the ceremony?  My husbands father did ours, and it was so great.  and free!  Here is the application.  You send it in about 8 weeks before with $25, and then you get the license and you’re all set!  I also liked it because we are also non-religious, so we didn’t feel pressure from religious officiants and we pretty much got to personalize our entire ceremony.

 She looks great!  I love how she spelled it out in the "fees" section — all without telling how much she charges — do you mind sharing how much you are paying?
