I don’t deal well with needles, let alone having them in my face. So I vote no lol

Augh! No… no no no. Bad plan. Your fiancee proposed to you because he fell in love with you. Fell in love with how you look – why on earth would you change it on the most important day of your life? Especially with something like botox… Tanning is one thing – Botox is just… too much.

Eh… would rather not inject botulism into my face. I’d rather have some natural wrinkles then risk the side effects.

I get botox in my armpits so I don’t sweat but that’s all the Pre wedding botoxing I will be doing!

I need some for my upper lip. I always get a sweat moustache. Lovely.

I’m not doing it but I don’t think it would be a great idea right before the wedding. Some people experience swelling or bruising. I’m sure you wouldn’t want that showing up in your photos. So if you do decide to go for it you may want to go a little while before your day.

@tinarenee77:

it usually takes 100 units to cover the area completely. I usually pay around $500 each time but I only need it every 5 months and each time the time period gets longer. I did it because I honestly think that’s the only place on my body that sweats other than my head when I work out. It really is the best thing since sliced bread! It essentially paralyzes your sweat glands so that they do not produce sweat at all. I’m 100% dry all of the time!

I would test it out before your wedding. The side effects are not usually that bad, so just see if you have any reactions. I’m pro botox, because a) it is not permanent, and b) its not different than tanning, tattoos, dying your hair, etc. Go for it girl! Just please get it done beofre you rwedding to make sure it is what is right for you!

@blondilocks: Aren’t there health issues associated with not being able to sweat? Your body uses sweat to cool itself down as well as release waste. I’d worry about issues with heat stroke or uric acid/waste retention.

@KatNYC2011:

I am being dramatic when I say I don’t sweat elsewhere. I do, just not nearly as much as my underarms. I was tested and took every precaution before I even started the injections. There are no medical problems associated with this treatment.

@blondilocks: Ah ok. I know botox is used as a treatment for excessive sweating. I’m just sure there would be side effects of eliminating ALL sweating.

Thanks!
