I’m 28 and have deep and noticable frown lines on my forehead which I have tried everything save botox on (I’ve had them for years). I would definitely consider it… if I could afford it! How much is it where you are, BTW?

Also, I’ve heard that the mistakes people make with botox include having too much injected, or having it too soon before big events. You want at least a few weeks to get rid of any residual “glassy” effect.

@SamanthaLovesJames:  i have a frown line in the same spot, too, and i hate it!!  i wonder if we are the only ones that notice them, though…

(28 here too, and i thought this was super early to be getting lines, so i’m glad i’m not alone!  but sorry you girls have them too, lol)

I’m 26 and have been getting botox for years. I believe if there’s something bothering you that you can fix, then why not. I have a very expressive forehead that wrinkles too much, and the wrinkles stay, so I get botox.

It doesn’t hurt and it lasts for about 6 months. I say go for it.

@SamanthaLovesJames:  Haha that picture of Megan Fox trying to convince us she hasn’t had plastic surgery makes me laugh.

I would say that if the line bothers you and it’s there when you’re NOT frowning, you might as well try it.

All the time.  but i am older than most of you.  I LOVE it.  My PS does a Botox Happy Hour so it’s quite affordable.

Just make sure you find a really good doc.  And keep in mind, the deeper a wrinkle is allowed to get, the harder and more expensive it will be later to rid yourself of it.

If you do the same area regularly, the muscle will weaken and the wrinkles won’t come back.

I get it 2-3 times a year. I love it and get a super discount from the doc because I was referred by her pharma rep! I’m 34 and have been going for like 2 years. While I have no visible lines (doc tells me I’m throwing my money away!!!) I tend to wrinkle my brow in photos which I hate! The botox makes that impossible! I’ll definitely go about a month before my wedding. 🙂 I feel like you should fix things you don’t like about yourself! Hooray for medical advances!!!!!!

I’m 31 and had it only on the “11” frown line.  Had it for the first time a month ago.  I only told my mom and a few friends.  Honestly, it made me sick for the first two days, but now I’m fine.

I get botox for my migraines. I am only 25 and have had the “11” between the eyes for a long time. Lucky for me they botox the forehead for migraines. It doesn’t hurt like you think. I recommend it.

Are any of you concerned about any long term effects on your looks?

@unixfairy:  It doesn’t last forever. I usually get movement back in 3-4 months and it looks like I it did before the botox.

@unixfairy:  I am, which is why I will never consider injecting my face. I will age as I age, that’s life.

@vmec:  Yeah I am with you there – I am 43 and am really curious as to why all these beautiful young women in their 20’s would want Botox?
