I recently did a boudoir shoot for my fiance’s wedding gift and after some research on the boards, have decided to go with a photo book from Adoramapix.
I am going to do a square book, either 8×8 or 10×10
Here’s my question – should I do the Professional Luster Paper or the HD Glossy? I think I am leaning towards the Luster because I prefer the non-glary look and I hear that glossy leaves way too many fingerprints.
I want to create my own template but it seems pretty hard and i’m not sure what all the lines mean in the template. I’m also trying to create a custom cover that’s mostly black, but just has a small window to show a picture that only shows my face and I can’t for the life of me figure that out.
Any help with using Adoramapix would be greatly appreciated!

Look though all the photobooks. Find one that is most like what you want. Then go in and make the changes to make it custom. I found one that had all this swoopy artwork over the pictures. I just removed them in editing.
If you need help figuring out how to make those changes, look for some tutorials on the site. Took a few tries, before I figured it out. As you are going along, save the file to a new name. That way if you screw up, you can go back to a previous version.
Good Luck and they come out looking gorgeous!

Hi! This is Libby from Adoramapix. I am the Social Media Manager. I might suggest you go with the Luster. I personally love the HD Glossy, but for portraits I typically think the Luster is better suited for it. It’s a bit softer for the skin tones. I love the HD Glossy for street photography and architecture.
We do have a Basics Photo Book Webinar coming up that is free to everyone. This is perfect, because you can ask any questions and it will be answered on the spot. It’s this Sunday evening at 4pm EST. You can click HERE to register.
Also, please feel free to email me directly if you have any questions or concerns, I would love to help.
You can reach me at : [email protected].

@libbyfromadoramapix: Great, thanks so much! I will be working at that time on Sunday so unfortunately I can’t attend the webinar. But I will keep your contact if I have questions! I agree on the Luster – I think it’s more flattering for these kind of pics. Thanks again!!
