I live in a lower cost area but mine personally was an add on to my wedding package so it was $150 (no hair or makeup). But my photographer is now charging closer to $200 without H&MU. I’ve seen several packages around the area that include hair/makeup & a couple of shots for $250, like a valentine’s day special but you only get access to a few photos. But I saw recently a boudoir photographer around here that starts at $1200 and you get heavy hair & makeup, you get the pics back the same day, prints, etc, the whole shebang.

bear123 :  Same with PP, the prices I’ve seen have only been an optional add-on to a wedding package. I just looked them up, the base packages ranged from $500-900ish. I’ve never seen any package that comes with hair and makeup. The base packages came with an online gallery of high resolution images and a small album book ranging from 10-30 images in it.

Photography is one of my top priorities for my wedding though, so these are based on well-established wedding photographers in a Southern US city.

I’ve done boudoir shoots with 3 different photographers.

The cheapest was 2 hours for $400 and that includes hair and makeup. The most expensive was around $1975 after a 10% discount, including hair and makeup, and it was several hours. The second company was sooo good and the photos and editing came out beautifully like professional modeling photos. The third shoot was around $1200 without hair or makeup, around 1-2 hours, I didn’t like the way the photos came out.

So do some research. I think what’s most important is to see the photographer’s previous work and decide whether you like their style or not.
