I’m SO freaking excited…I just booked a boudoir photo shoot for my future husband’s wedding gift. I wasn’t even thinking about it, but I came across a deal on Living Social for a really affordable deal and the photographer has awesome reviews and work. I am so excited!!! Also, I booked it on my birthday so I can take that day off from work and be all dolled up for that night!
I shared with a few close friends, but don’t want to share with a lot of people nor obviously my Fiance yet but I’m bursting with excitement so I had to share with the bees! 😉

@Skittles131: EXCELLENT. I thought about doing this but decided against it mostly for budget reasons. Will you get pro hair and makeup?? That was the thing I was really thinking about. I thought (for me) that it would totally make the pictures, but would also add $$$ to the total cost of the endeavour!
I really love the idea of this though! One more question! Will you tell him what you’re up to, or surprise him with the pictures?

@Skittles131: I had a BLAST with my session! I did a siren session, so boudoir in the water. So cold, so fun, and the pictures turned out amazing! The only time I’ve felt more gorgeous was our wedding day. 🙂 Have an amazing time!!!

I loooved doing these as well! Used livingsocial as well-did them for valentines day last year & plan to do some bridal themed ones too. Was so nervous at first but my photographer was amazing and the pictures came out SO GOOD i could not believe it.
@fizzy8 I got a trim on my hair that day because I needed one anyway & instead of a regular blowdry the girl set me hair in hot rollers for no extra cost. I did my own makeup because I couldn’t afford professional i even somehow managed miraculously to do fake eyelashes but a salon will do those for you for a few dollars. The lighting I think took care of the rest.
SO recommend Crystal at Behind Closed Doors in Elkhart IN if anyone is in the area. She is usually on livingsocial

I’m thinking of doing these and I’m not even engaged yet! BUT I have a friend who I’m close to who showed me some other ones that she did and they were very well done.

@PacificMrs: i never heard of this – care to share a pic?? maybe one that’s a little less risque? 🙂
good luck, op! i want to do one, too – and create a calendar for Fiance.. i’ve been saying i’m going to do it as his xmas gift for years, but haven’t felt sexy enough since 2010 🙁 but maybe for our wedding!

@Fizzy8: That’s the great thing about this deal! They include hair and makeup by professional stylist and makeup artist, lunch, and photo shoot all for $150! Plus I had a 20% off coupon (but coupon restriction was $20 off max) so I ended up getting it for $130. I will have to buy prints though and that could get costly. I’m in STL if anyone is interested, check it out on Living Social. It’s still up!
It’s going to be a surprise for Fiance 🙂 I was thinking about giving it to him on the plane on our way to honeymoon but I don’t know if that will work logistically. It will be around our wedding though when he gets it 🙂
