I didn’t have either.  I’m not a big makeup person so I wanted these pictures to be more me since I did amp it up for the wedding.

I wouldn’t do makeup, but I would definitely consider getting my hair done. It’s really thin and I’m terrible at styling it.

Yes I did….but it came with my package. I was surprised how MUCH i felt like i had on. But it translated well to photos.

I’m probably not going to take any boudoir pics but if I was going to I would like to look like a model and models get their hair and make up professionally done before each photo shoot…

I didn’t do this, but if i were to, i would schedule my session around the time as my normal hair appointment, and tip my stylist a little extra to give me Cosmo Covergirl hair. Why not!!

the place i got mine had someone do all that for them, so i got the whole shebang, and they even served me a nice champagne!!

I voted both.  If I were going to do b-pics I’d want a smoky, sexy makeup and that’s just not my specialty.  Plus I think having hair and makeup done by someone else would help get me into the right mental space to be “modeling” during the shoot.

If you decide against it to save money though, there are TONS of hair and makeup tutorials on Youtube you could use to achieve your desired look on your own.  A pre-shoot hair/makeup session with a friend could be a fun way to get that experience started without spending the moolah.

    Good luck!

If I were to get them done I’d get both done for SURE.  You want to look your very best, right?
