Not had a boudoir shot, but love the idea (as long as it’s tasteful not trashy).

I’d say go for it!

Curves are the best 😉

Definitely do it. I haven’t yet but I absolutely would if I had the opportunity because I have heard so many positive things from other women who have had it done. The photographer will be able to focus on the parts you your body that you love and minimise ones you don’t. The only down side of boudoir is if you don’t trust the photographer, but it sounds like that won’t be an issue for you. I say go for it, it will make you feel great and the photos will be a lovely gift for your fiance!

I did a boudoir shoot and my husband loved it.  I would’ve never thought to do one, except that our photography package came with the choice of a free boudoir or bridal shoot.  My husband chose the boudoir shoot.  I made him an album (designed and printed at home) and it was hands down his favorite gift from our wedding.  As long as you feel comfortable with your photographer (and your photographer knows what he/she is doing) I think it can be a wonderful experience.

It sounds like a great opportunity! If I weren’t on a budget for the wedding, I would get one done.

Do it 🙂 I had the chance to do it as a group of us did it as part of the stagette for my sister in law.  We each took a turn, and the pictures turned out pretty great.  It’s definitely a bit awkward for the first few minutes, but eventually you kind of forget what you’re wearing etc. and just have fun.  It’s important that you’re able to relax in front of the photographer and not feel uncomfortable.  We had a female photographer which for us I think was the best.  In your case it would depend on the relationship you have with your friend.  I love some of the pictures of me… It’s nice to look at them on days when I’m maybe not feeling so great about myself… I can always say – hey – I can look like that 😉

My FI wants me to do one but the cheapest in our area are 400+ anD I can’t justify the cost! If you have the opportunity to get your sexy self out there do it!!! I have body issues as well (who doesn’t) but the men we wanna marry think we are hot stuff and that’s what matter!!! Do it!!!

rachel85:  I loved mine. I liked MOST of the photos but I got to choose what went into the album so it wasn’t a problem. My fiance liked it more than I thought he would – he still looks at it frequently and I was expecting it to be the type of gift that sits in a drawer forever never to be seen again. Luckily I was wrong. 🙂
