I am planning on doing a boudoir photo album for my Fiance.. for those of you that have done them do you put nudes in them or just in like lingerie? He is in the military and will be gone a lot, if that makes a difference ! Thanks!

I have done boudoir photos before – We did not do any nudes.. just sexy outfits .. with lots of skin. Some even topless (although my breasts were covered) but no nudes. They turned out BOMB if I say so myself 🙂
It was a fantastic experience. Have fun!

I worked for a business that did Boudoir shoots and I will say that most women wear sexy linqerie and bring a few options. Another really cute idea is wearing one of his button up shirts open with one of his ties, or if you are into the country look, a plaid shirt that’s open in front.

I did a boudoir photo album for my Fiance and no nudes were done. I had 3 sexy lingerie outfits and went topless for one pose (I was facing the back). Sometimes just hinting at what is unseen is sexier. I know Fiance is going to die when he sees them 🙂

I did some boudoir photos and didn’t do any nudes. Doing pics in lingerie in front of my photographer was bad enough, I couldn’t have handled being actually nude haha but make sure you get a good photographer who understands what you want! I wanted a more bridal boudoir/romantic session with nothing overly risque and my photographer did a great job capturing that “feel>” All depends on what you want and what you are comfortable with.

I did one and no nudes. (God no — that wasn’t even an option.) I had a few different outfits, nothing too crazy risque (think: lacy bralettes and undies). I even wore a cardigan in some of my photos! I wanted them to be timeless and classic.
Husband LOVES the photos.

No nudes for me here either. Sexy lingerie was perfect. Pinterst has some great ideas!

My best friend did there for her DH. He works on oil rigs so he is away alot as well. She did lingerie, or topless, but covered. They came out amazing!
She said she didn’t do nudes, just in case they fell into the wrong hands, so thats something you might want to consider if the photos are going to be going with your Fiance while he’s deployed.

I made a book for the ex husband… No nudes tho. And my now fiance isnt quite into the idea. Ive lost about 90lbs… And I think its a great way to appreciate ones own body and unique beauty… But I tend to agree with fiance that no one should see me like that (including just a photographer) but him. Kind of on the fence whether to make him a book of sexy shots.

Thank you for all of your advice! I do photography on the side so I will be doing a DIY shoot so I don’t have to worry about my husband beng uncomfortable with a photographer seeing me.

I did a few boudoir shoots but in the end it was really for me. He kind of liked seeing the pics but really he didn’t care that much and thought it was all very expensive lol.
That being said I chose lingerie, bodysuits, a few cute outfits, and only topless one time. Definitely choose what you feel comfortable in and what looks most flattering on you.
