So I am pretty excited and nervous for these pictures. So any tips that you ladies have or any insparation pictures would be awesome. I’m still trying to decide on hair and makeup as well. I just want to make sure that the pictures look classy and not sleezy
Any input, tips or pictures would be really helpful!!

hey girl, had this window open to answer last night so since there werent any other responses thought i’d throw mine out. i got my boudoir pictures taken a week ago and it went great! i had 3 “outfits”, which were all fairly conservative (considering what it’s for), and made good use of props (violin, veil, gun, xbox controller). i had looks in my mind that i was going for – soft, sexy, and playful so i had a lot of variety. each outfit had different components to it (like a real steel-boned corset, garter belt & seamed stockings, played around with a sheer bedroom jacket) and i felt pretty covered for the majority of the time! actually, i don’t think i did a single “bra & panties” shot! lol
for hair, i went with messy bedhead curly and for makeup black & grey smokey eye and a goldish-redish-pink lip color. for the more playful pictures (i was wearing something very similar to the last picture i’m posting of the blonde chick) i threw my hair into low pigtails just for a little bit of change.
as for any other tips, trust in your photog! i actually had 2 in my shoot (both girls) and they were super cool. they also had champagne and roses and stuff like that so it was fun! ACCESSORIZE!!! That was seriously what made the outfits, in my mind. i had earrings, necklaces and bracelets for each outfit and my photogs were floored. they were like “uhhh… want a part time job as our shoot stylist??” lol
i also have very particular musical tastes so i made my own playlist of songs the night before just in case, because they mentioned playing music while we did it. i was SO glad i did, because they had ke$ha playing when i walked in and after we switched out ipods we really bonded over our collected preference for what i had brought! it really put me at ease too, to hear my favourite songs… that and the champagne of course ;]
anyway! here are some of my inspiration shots that i gathered beforehand:
